Running Development Camp
17th June 2018 - Pontypool Active Living Centre
Running is a very simple sport, but making small changes to your training can make a huge difference to your performance.
During the one day camp we will cover:
· Physical and Mental Preparation
· Strength and Conditioning inc. Mobility
· Interval Training
· Cross Training
· Post Run Recovery
Based at Pontypool Active Living Centre, we will be using the famous Pontypool park and the varied terrain it offers to give you a challenging but enjoyable experience. From here we can run to the hills and the iconic Folly, the run isn't easy, but the view of the Usk Valley is well worth the effort.
Aimed to help runners of all abilities from 14+, the course is led by experienced coach, personal trainer and triathlete Ray Morgan who will ensure you get the most from the experience.
Lunch is not included in the course but is available from the café onsite and can be pre ordered in the morning to avoid a wait.
Attendees of the course will have access to the excellent health and fitness facilities on site, including Sauna,Steam Room and Jacuzzi*
